Equipment. Education. Experience.

If you think about it, these three things are crucial to our enjoyment of diving. Here at Wreck and Cave, I hope to be able to improve each of these three areas for you. Here’s how.

Equipment

Good equipment is central to high performance in a sport, and diving is no different. Lots of equipment looks fantastic in a dive shop, but that doesn’t always mean that it will be a great piece of equipment in practice. Here at Wreck and Cave, we talk to our customers and help them to choose the equipment that will best suit their diving now, and in the future.

We differ from other dive equipment outlets in that we like to meet our customers and go for a dive with them to demonstrate the equipment and make sure it is set up properly. We run regular try-out days too, so that you can really get to know the equipment before you commit your hard earned money.

Education

GUE training is fast gaining a reputation as the most rigorous programme currently available. Most people agree that it will make you a better diver, however experienced or skilled you are when you begin the class. Classes I’m teaching are listed here, or alternatively, drop me a line and we can put one together for you.

Experience

Students frequently complete their training and say “So what next? Where can I go and put these new skills into practice?” Diving within clubs is great, but sometimes you want to join up with a group of GUE trained DIR divers, and experience something special. I’m now starting to put together a programme of diving that will take you to some of the most exciting places to dive, that are also hopefully a little bit different. What a great way to do some outstanding diving, and also make some new friends. Hope to see you on one of our expeditions soon!
